'NO MATCH FOR ME' EARNS ISC SEMI-FINALIST POSITION
MARCH 1, 2016
Faith Numada's original ballad "No Match For Me" has earned her two coveted semi-finalist positions in the International Songwriting Competition. This is no small feat for the independent artist who earned her titles for both the 'Country Genre' and the 'Unsigned Artist' categories.
"No Match For Me" is a powerful country ballad that tells of a woman who finding her inner strength amidst tragedy.
Finalists are announced late-March after which a celebrity jury panel selects a Grand Prize winner of USD$25,000. But for Faith it's not about the money, "It doesn't matter to me whether I win or lose. To know that a song I've written connects with people is enough for me".

Manicdown Productions' very own Dan Swinimer will be producing and co-writing with Faith for her new original demos.
Faith met Dan a little over a year ago when she heard the song 'Sinking Like A Stone' (performed by Madeline Merlo) playing on 93.7 JRFM.
"I fell in love with it. The words were just so powerful I had to know who wrote it. So I did a Google search and Dan's name showed up. My gut told me to message him, so I did. I was so surprised when he wrote back!"
Faith met up with Dan not too long afterwards and they began cowriting and recording together. When she heard the fruits of their labour in the form of Country Rock tune 'Don Juan', Faith knew that her music would never be the same.
"Dan is incredibly talented and professional. He has a gift for bringing out your best performance. I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity."
